AKIEF-2011
Dear Colleagues,

we are pleased to announce the 8th All-Kazakhstan International Education Fair to be held on February 15 in Almaty, and on February 17 in Astana, on February 19 in Atyrau and on February 21 in Aktau.

Eighty institutions from many countries participated in the AKIEF-2010 and more than 4000 visitors attended our fairs in three cities of Kazakhstan.

Speedy economic and social development of Kazakhstan has resulted in an acute need for personnel with advanced western education. This is an important contributing factor to the popularization of overseas education, particularly in the English-speaking countries.

An average annual GDP growth of over 9% over last five or six years significantly raised creditworthiness and financial capacity of the population allowing parents to educate their children in commercial universities and colleges. As prices for higher education in Kazakhstan rapidly approach Western levels many parents begin to look overseas at educational destinations for their children.

This Fair will provide an excellent opportunity for all participants to tap into Kazakhstan's student market and gain access to a large number of potential applicants.

We are looking forward to welcoming you in Kazakhstan!

With best regards,

SWISS Education fair 2010

Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce the Second edition of the “Swiss Education Fair” to be held on October 2 in Astana, and on October 3, 2010 in Almaty.
The great success of the 2007 edition and the significant increase of Kazakh students choosing Switzerland as their destination for graduate or postgraduate education, encouraged us to give once again the chance for an outlook on Swiss educational opportunities and meet with Swiss Schools representatives. The Swiss Embassy in Astana is welcoming our initiative and will also be present at our fair with its own booth.
